A CAS Exhibition was organised at Knowledgeum Academy, showcasing the Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) projects and experiences of IB Diploma Programme learners (DP2). CAS offers learners the opportunity to engage in practical, hands-on learning that extends beyond the traditional classroom setting. It allows learners to apply classroom knowledge to real-world situations, develop essential skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and communication, and embrace social responsibility.
The event aimed to highlight the significance of CAS in fostering creativity, activity, and service while providing a platform for learners to share their learning journeys. The event commenced with an introduction by Mr. Basavaraj, followed by stories shared by Sahana and Vihaan, who offered insights into their CAS journeys. The highlight of the event was the exhibition of learner projects, which gave the audience a glimpse into the diverse activities undertaken through the CAS programme. These activities, ranging from environmental clean-ups to volunteering with community organisations, showcased Knowledgeum Academy's focus on service-learning initiatives that address real-world challenges.
Such experiences not only enrich learners’ personal growth but also strengthen their university applications. The event was well-organised and executed, with inspiring and thought-provoking stories and an engaging and informative exhibition that left a lasting impression on the attendees.
