DP1 learners visited the Indian Music Experience Museum. The visit provided an immersive and interactive experience, allowing learners to explore exhibits showcasing the history, instruments, and genres of Indian music.
The event connected to the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) by examining Ways of Knowing—perception, emotion, and reason—through the lens of Indian music. Learners engaged with interactive displays, deepening their understanding of how music conveys emotions, reflects cultural narratives, and shapes individual perspectives. The visit highlighted music’s role in fostering social connections, self-expression, and empathy while also emphasising its subjective nature, influenced by personal and cultural backgrounds.
