Celebrating #WEPUBLICDAY on India’s 74th REPUBLIC DAY!

"You must be the change you want to see in the world." These wise words of Mahatma Gandhi have more significance today than ever before.

Citizens are people who are legally recognized by custom or law as belonging to a sovereign nation or as having pledged loyalty to a government in return for that government's protection, whether at home or abroad, is said to be a citizen of that nation and so, one of the main pillars of a nation is “WE THE PUBLIC.”

India is a democratic nation where "WE" the "PUBLIC" enjoy freedom of thought, expression and speech. However, only when the public has both rights and obligations, can a democracy function. In every home, society, state, and nation we live in, rights and obligations are two sides of the same coin. The constitution of our nation is generous and fair towards the allotment of rights and duties to the citizens, however, it is also imperative that we abide by our rights and duties meticulously to uphold the nation’s seamless governance.

A republic nation such as ours, empowers us as it provides abundant avenues for us to be seen, heard and understood.

The development of any nation rests with the future generation and so, we the public play a crucial role in nation-building or its overall development. The future of democracy, the economy, technology, and medical science rests in the hands of responsible citizens. The social and ecological issues that the globe is currently experiencing include poverty, unemployment, global warming, corruption, etc and might appear to be mammoth tasks to handle as individuals but if if we build and encourage the forthcoming generation to stand up, voice their opinion freely and execute their aspirations with vigour, no task would feel unattainable.

WE the PUBLIC have the power to better our REPUBLIC afterall!
